Edge Order Methodology: The Backbone of High Scores

Define Your Edge

Pick the anchor corner and define the adjacent edge as your pipeline. The tiles on this edge must always be ordered high→low.

Three-Step Loop

  1. Compress toward the anchor to create adjacency.
  2. Merge only when the next slot is ready.
  3. Restore order immediately after merging.

Contamination Response

If a low tile enters the edge, push away from the anchor, clean the interior, then reseat and reorder. Do not merge large tiles until order is restored.

Template: After each merge, ask: “Is edge still high→low? Do I have two empties?” If not, fix before next action.

Make edge order a ritual and your scores will stabilize. Play now.
